G-W Offers ClassLink Single Sign-On (SSO)
ClassLink provides single sign-on into web and Windows applications, and instant access to files at school and in the cloud.
If you are interested in using ClassLink with G-W or with an LMS you will need to work with your Educational Consultant to make sure what you have purchased is the correct type of access for ClassLink. You will need to have purchased 1:1 access.
Option 1: ClassLink with G-W Title(s) District Bookshelf
- Your Educational Consultant will put in a support ticket to get the process started once they have verified the purchase.
- Our Support Team will ask your ClassLink administrator to find our G-W Online Textbook application and use the G-W Online SSO connection.
- Once the connection is made, please send G-W your Classlink Tenant ID to complete the setup.
- Our Support Team will make the connections of titles on the backend.
- Our Support Team will let you know when to verify things are working properly.
Option 2: ClassLink with G-W Title(s) with Rostering
- Your Educational Consultant will put in a support ticket to get the process started once they have verified the purchase.
- G-W will begin the setup process on our side and you can expect an email from our Support Team with further instructions.
- Files to expect to complete the ClassLink setup:
- Classlink Setup documentation - How to add the G-W Application on ClassLink
- LTI and OneRoster documentation to set up the SFTP connection
- CSV Files
- resources - list of products that correlate to the textbooks you have purchased
- courseResources - correlates your courses to our resources (textbook) found in the resources.csv file
- You will need to add the CourseSourceID (which comes from the course file sourceID) and the SourcedID (which comes from the course file courseCode). Then you can upload this file.
- You will want to process the files and test to make sure things are working properly.
- If you have any issues please let us know and we can take a look at the files.
Option 3: ClassLink with your LMS
- You must purchase an EduHub LMS-Ready Content (common cartridge package) that will be loaded into your LMS.
- You will set up ClassLink on your end for rostering into your LMS. No additional work is needed on the G-W side.
- Instructors and students will still need to activate their subscriptions in the course with G-W content. Here is the link to the G-W Knowledge Base Article for the various Learning Management Systems (LMS) which has directions on how to activate a subscription for both instructors and students:
