Steps to Import Question Bank/Exam Files in Blackboard Ultra

Note: If you would like to import Question Bank/Exam Files into Blackboard Ultra, please submit a ticket for this request via G-W Support at https://support.g-w.com/new/.

Once you have received the Question Bank ZIP folders from G-W Support, download them to your local hard drive and follow the steps below to import them into your Blackboard Ultra course.

Extract Each Question Bank ZIP Folder Sent by G-W (Exams, Pretests, Posttests, etc.)

1. Download each ZIP folder to your local hard drive.
    
2. Extract the files from each ZIP folder.
             
    
3. After files are extracted, there will be one ZIP folder for each chapter. Do not extract each chapter folder – leave those zipped.
   
    
4. In the next few steps you will import each chapter zip folder into your course.

Open Your Blackboard Ultra Course to Import Question Bank/Exam Files

1. On the Course Content page, from the Details & Actions panel, select Manage banks.
   
    
2. In the upper right-hand corner, select the Plus icon.
   
    
3. Browse for the extracted folder of choice (Exams, Prettests, Posttests) and then select the Chapter/Unit 1 ZIP folder to upload. (You may only upload 1 zip folder at a time.)
   
    
4. A processing notification will appear while the Question Bank file is uploading.
   
    
5. Each Question Bank file will appear upon successful completion.
