Google Classroom: How to Use 2025 Health Resources in Google Classroom

Important: G-W does not fully integrate with Google Classroom. We have created .docx files for certain products that have workbooks and handouts included in the digital assets. These .docx files are in an accessible format that may be edited in Microsoft Office Word, or uploaded and converted into Google Docs for use in Google Classroom. In addition, all PPT Presentations may be converted into Google Slides, and Excel Spreadsheets may be converted into Google Sheets for use in Google Classroom.

Download .docx Files from the Online Instructor Resources

  1. Go to your G-W Health, 2025, Online Instructor Resources.

  2. Select a specific Module to view its contents.

  3. Download the .zip folder of resources by selecting Module 1 Student Resources ZIP (you may also select the Instructor Resources ZIP if you'd like to include Instructor-only content as well).

  4. Go to your Downloads folder to view the .zip folder that was recently downloaded. Extract the .zip folder of student files.

  5. This .zip folder includes one folder for each Lesson within this Module. (For example, Module 1 has 4 lessons so there will be 4 Lesson folders of resources inside Module 1 student files.)

Upload .docx Files into Google Drive for Use in Google Classroom

Important: Please change your Google Drive Settings to allow for all .docx uploads to convert to Google Docs.

  1. Go to your Google Drive
  2. Select Settings (Gear icon)
  3. Check the box next to Convert Uploads
  4. Select Done

Note: Instructors may go to their Google Drive and upload files from there, or they may drag and drop files from their Downloads folder into their Google Drive. Below are the steps for Option 2.

  1. Open your Downloads folder to view the 01_student_files extracted folder. Then open your Google Drive so they are side-by-side.

  2. Drag the extracted folder into your Google Drive (in the folder and location of your choice).

  3. Once the files have copied, you will receive a notification on the bottom right of your screen.

  4. Within each Lesson folder you will see a number of G-W Resources (Google Docs) in that folder.
