ExamView: How to Access ExamView Test Banks from Health 2025 Titles

These steps are for customers who already have ExamView downloaded on their PC/Windows computer. If you are a new customer and do not have ExamView on your PC, please visit the Knowledge Base Article on How to Install ExamView Assessment Suite and Test Banks from Health 2025 Titles.

 

If you have downloaded your ExamView test banks from your Online Instructor Resources, but they do not appear in the ExamView software, you may need to move the test banks to have them accessible from within the Test Generator. Please scroll down to the Steps to Make the Test Bank Files Accessible from within the Test Generator section of this Knowledge Base Article, and follow those steps.

Steps to Download the ExamView Question Bank Files from the Health 2025 Online Instructor Resources:

  1. After selecting Instructor Resources, select a specific Module to view.

     
  2. Select the Assessment & Answer Keys section of that Module.

     
  3. Scroll down to the Assessment Question Pools subsection and select the ExamView Question Bank Files download.

     
  4. The .zip folder for this module should appear in your Downloads folder.

Steps to Make the Test Bank Files Accessible from within the Test Generator

  1. Go to your Downloads folder and extract the .zip file containing all the bank files. It should look similar to the image below:

     
  2. Open a new File Explorer folder and navigate to your ExamView bank folder (The default is typically C:\Program Files (x86)\eInstruction\ExamView\Banks, but may be different based on your setup. Please reference our documentation on checking your test bank location preferences for further guidance.

     
  3. Create a new folder named after your title (eg. "Comprehensive Health for Middle School 2025") and move the files from the extracted test bank .zip you downloaded, into the ExamView\Banks folder\Comprehensive Health for Middle School 2025 folder.

Steps to Create Tests from ExamView Test Generator Software

  1. Open the ExamView Test Generator software, select either "Open an existing question bank" from the start up screen, or go to File in the upper left hand corner, and select "Open Question Bank" from the drop down menu.




    Note: If you do not see the option, make sure to switch the Test Generator to Question Bank Editor mode by going to File in the upper left hand corner and selecting "Switch to Question Bank Editor" from the drop down.

     
  2. Go to File > Open Question Bank...

     
  3. Open the folder you just created.

     
  4. Select a Test Bank and select Open.

     
  5. Now the test will open and you may edit the test or print as is.
