Steps to Create Tests in Blackboard Learn

Once all Question Banks have been imported into Pools, Instructors may begin creating Tests from Pools.

1.  Select a specific folder within a course.
   
    
2.  Select the Assessment drop-down menu and then select Test.
   
    
3.  Complete the Test Information including Name and select Submit.
        
    
4.  Select the Reuse Question drop-down menu and select Find Questions.
   
    
5.  A new window will appear prompting an instructor to select a Question Pool previously imported (see Step 4). An instructor may choose to select all questions from a single  chapter/unit, select questions from a single chapter/unit, or select questions from multiple chapters/units. Select Submit upon completion.
   
    
6.  On the next screen, the Test Canvas window will appear allowing an instructor to add, edit, and reorder questions or save it as is by selecting OK.
   
    
7.  Under Add an Existing Test, select the test recently created and select Submit.
   
    
8.  On the next screen, an instructor can fill out specific Test Options specific to this test and select Submit.
    
9.  The test will now appear within the folder in the course.
