Schoology: How to Add G-W Content into a Group

Tasks to Complete in Advance:

  • Create a Group for Instructors (invite specific instructors who will be using this content)

  • Import the cartridge (.imscc) file into your Schoology Resources

Steps to Add G-W Content into a Schoology Group

 

  1. After logging into Schoology, select the Groups tab.

     

  2. Select a specific Group.

     

  3. On the left-hand side of the screen, select Resources.

     

  4. Select the Add Resources drop-down menu and select Copy from Resources.

     

  5. Select a specific Collection to view its contents. Select the checkboxes next to the folders to be added to this specific group and select Copy.
     

  6. Now an Instructor will see the textbook content that has been transferred into their Group.

Note: Once the material is in a Schoology Group, an instructor may transfer those materials into a course, adjust the LTI (external tool), activate their subscription, and begin using the material.
