MotoVisuals Library: How to Import MotoVisuals Library into Schoology

Steps to Import the MotoVisuals Library into Schoology

Important: Before an instructor may add the MotoVisuals Library to their Automotive course, the following steps must be taken: See How to Request the Addition of the MotoVisuals Library to Your Automotive Title(s) Knowledge Base Article.

 

The MotoVisuals Library cartridge (.imscc file) was sent to you through our ticket system. Please save the cartridge to your computer for ease of access.

 

Import the MotoVisuals Library Cartridge

  1. After logging into Schoology, select the Resources tab.
  2. On the left-hand side of your screen, make sure Personal has been selected.
  3. Select the drop-down arrow and then select Import.
  4. Select Common Cartridge (IMSCC or ZIP), New Collection or add to the existing Automotive Collection. Click on Next.
  5. Click on Attach File, to upload the common cartridge (motovisuals2023_ccl_v110.imscc) file that was sent, and then select Next.
  6. Your cartridge will now start uploading and should look similar to the image below. Depending on the size of the file, the import process may take some time.
  7. Once the file is loaded you will be able to find the Resources folder within the MotoVisuals Library Collection.
  8. There are two links within the Resources folder needed for the MotoVisuals Library. Select the Gear icon to the right of the folder and select Add to Course.
  9. Next, select the course to which you would like to add the MotoVisuals Library and select Import.
  10. Now go to the Automotive course to view the new Resources folder that has been added.

Activate the MotoVisuals Library Subscription

  1. From the Automotive course, expand the Resources folder to view its contents.
  2. To the right of each new link, select the Gear icon and Edit.
  3. Select the drop-down menu next to Tool Provider and select G-W and select Save Changes.
  4. Select "Activate Your MotoVisuals Access" link.
  5. Receive confirmation of successful activation.
  6. Go back to course Modules and select "MotoVisuals Library" link.
  7. Select Launch MotoVisuals to view its content.
